Program Description:
The Cybersecurity Diploma is designed to meet the needs of the local labor market, and training is conducted in four divided half-term training semesters, each training part lasting eight weeks, with a total of (1760) training hours, in addition to (360) hours of practical training in the labor market, equivalent to (77) credit hours.
This program provides training on specialized skills in the field of cybersecurity, giving the trainee a broad understanding, good awareness, and practical skills in the field of cybersecurity and its areas of operating systems, website and communications security, software security, cloud computing, and the trainee will be trained on skills that help him detect electronic hacking operations carried out by criminal entities, with the aim of obtaining material benefits by stealing data from individuals; or public or governmental institutions.
The graduate of this program is awarded a diploma or an intermediate university degree in cybersecurity, and is expected to work in fields related to the cybersecurity process, which include: Information Security Coordinator. Assistant Information Security Manager, Information Security Administrator, Cyber Security Investigator Assistant and other jobs related to cybercrimes and information security.
General Objective of the Program:
This program aims to qualify the trainee to work in the field of cybersecurity and obtain the fifth level in the National Qualifications Framework.
Detailed Objectives of the Program:
By the end of this program, the trainee will be able and efficient to perform the following tasks:
• Performs security breach detection of network systems.
• Uses the necessary technologies to detect cybercrimes.
• Prepares electronic plans to combat attempts to decrypt information.
• Detects hacking attempts.
• Protects information security.
• Tests penetration of systems and networks.
• Learns about international law and conventions in the use of the Internet and the exchange of information.
